Great Draft Al Gore video

One of my like-minded Gore supporters put together this video. It's really wonderful and I applaud the effort. My favorite part: "We know you hate politics. So do we. That's why you are so perfect."

Back in Happy Valley, indeed

I went to school at Penn State and lived there for a year after I graduated, thereby becoming a temporary townie. So this post in the Centre Daily Times kinda made me proud of my old town. I also like the title of the blog post: Al Gore Would Be Proud. :-D

Be sure to read the comments. Thanks, "John," whoever you are -- your point rang loud and clear!

Run, Dammit!

I love this site. Honest and short and sweet and to the point. Check out RunDammit.com. Great find, Dylan!

Great graphic. I adore how Kucinich's name is so teeny...

Let's get a real tally

This petition will help get Gore in the polls instead of just lumping him in with "other." I signed it. If you believe in his cause, please consider doing so yourself.

ExxposeExxon

I've been a fan of this group for years now. But Al's latest comments about Exxon make it pertinent to this blog. ExxposeExxon.com has an interesting "so ye doubt us" page.

All these debates

I'm wondering when the "secondary" candidates will gracefully bow out of the race and let's focus on the three big candidates, as they stand now. The three big ones, as I see it, are John Edwards, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. The secondary hopefuls are not saying anything different enough to add any value to these. I'd rather get to the real differences in opinion between Edwards, Obama and Clinton. Let's let them talk for 5 minutes about a question to really get into the issues, not just get a 30-second sound byte.

Maybe that's part of what's frustrating Gore about the political process these days. Everything is boiled down to a sound byte by the mere fact of the time limits being so short.

Why are the candidates all saying things they know will get the crowd screaming? It's substance-less and I'm getting tired of it. And I'm only 25 minutes into the debated (TG for Tivo).
